Certificate in Myofascial Release – Level 2
The prerequisite for attending this workshops is that you have attended the introductory workshop “Certificate in Myofascial Techniques”.
The level 2 courses expand on the techniques and skills you will have learnt on the level 1 course. In the level 2 courses you will learn advanced techniques for the lower and upper body.
Day One:
In day one you will learn advanced techniques for the lower leg, thigh, hips and pelvis. We will cover techniques to release restrictions between the myofascial compartments of the leg and thigh, and look at which areas to work to help bring the pelvis back into a balanced position. You will learn myofascial techniques for the deep ankle flexors, peroneus longus and brevis, as well as the leg adductor and abductor groups and the deep hip flexors and lateral rotators of the hip.
Day Two:
In day two we will look at new and advanced myofascial techniques for the back shoulders and neck. You will learn how to work more functionally with your clients on and off the table and learn myofascial techniques for dealing with lordotic and kyphotic patterns of the spine. We will cover myofascial techniques for the deeper muscles of the back and shoulder girdle and you will be introduced to effective techniques for the neck area.
The level 2 courses will give you new and exciting ways to help your clients using by advanced deep tissue and myofascial release skills.
