Certificate in Myofascial Release

The prerequisite for attending this workshops is that you have attended the introductory workshop “Certificate in Myofascial Techniques”.

Myofascial techniques for the neck, shoulders and arms:

In these two days you will learn myofascial techniques for the chest,arms, neck and shoulders, and be introduced to Body Reading techniques for these areas. We will look in detail at the myofascia of these areas and learn a multitude of techniques to work these areas.  Learn how to work with rotator cuff muscles and how to balance the anterior and posterior muscles of the shoulder girdle as well as the influence that the arms have on the shoulder girdle and the strain patterns that can develop. Learn how to work with confidence on the myofascia of the neck and help with head forward posture and neck pain.
On this weekend you will learn:

  • Myofascial techniques for the chest, arms, neck and shouders.
  • How to assess imbalances in the chest, arms, neck and shoulders and strategies for treating them.
  • Be confident in treating and understand how to work around the rotator cuff muscles and shoulder problems and imbalances..
  • Feel more confident working with injuries of the arm and forearm such as  tennis elbow and repetitive strain issues.
  • Understand the relationship between the scapula and the humerus and how to balance the muscles around these structures for better movement and posture.
  • Feel confident about how to work on the structures of the neck and where to work to create postural balance

  • Thoracic outlet syndrome
  • Spasmodic Torticollis (Wry neck)
  • Whiplash
  • Adhesive capsulitis (frozen shoulder)
  • Rotator cuff strain
  • Shoulder impingement
  • Sub-Acromial bursitis
  • Bicipital tendinosis
  • Lateral epicondylitis (Tennis elbow)
  • Medial epicondylitis (golfers elbow)
  • Carpel tunnel syndrome
