These days will be certificated and can be used for your CPD (Continuing Professional Development) hours.
Cost per workshop is £80 but if you book and pay in advance for all 4, there will be a reduction of £20, a discount of £5 per day.

About Part 3
We will be looking at the dynamic relationship between the neck and shoulders and how each can influence the other. Muscles covered in this day will be:
Trapezius, levator scapulae, splenius cervicus and capitus, scalenes, rhomboids, infra and supraspinatus, deltoid, platysma, latissimus dorsi, pectoralis major and minor, sternocleidomastoid.
- Pelvic rotations, torsions and tilts
- How the pelvis can influence the rest of the body
- Working on the larger and smaller muscle groups of the pelvis and back: psoas, piriformis, quadratus lumborum, ilio costalis, latissimus dorsi, obturator, gemellus, iliacus, gluteus max, med and minimus
- Introduction to Muscle Energy Technique (MET); Proprioceptor Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF); Soft Tissue Release (STR) and Neuro Muscular Technique (NMT)
- Placing the body in the most effective positions to receive treatment
- Conditions which can be greatly improved are lower, mid and upper back pain; pelvic discomfort and hip problems.
Taught by Michael Gibbons, this will be a dynamic, interactive and inspiring day.
Michael Gibbons initially qualified as a massage therapist in 1991 and following further massage training now works using many styles: Sports, Relaxation, Remedial, and Thai Yoga Massage. In 1996 he studied at the McTimoney College of Chiropractic in Abingdon, Oxford gaining a Diploma in 1999 and now practices Classical Manipulation inspired by the work of John McTimoney. He is also qualified in Biodynamic Cranio-Sacral therapy. Michael will draw on his skills he has learned over the last 18 years in this field and will teach a fusion of all these disciplines and influences.
